I acknowledge that I live and create on Treaty 1 Territory and the homeland of the Red River Métis—the traditional lands of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Dene peoples. The opportunity I have to celebrate stories through photography exists because of the enduring strength, care and sacrifices of the First Nations and Métis communities who have always called this place home.

I honour those who came before me and extend gratitude to the generations who continue to protect, nurture and build community on this land.
